I love flowers. I know a lot of people think buying flowers is kind of a waste because they die and they're expensive ya da ya da ya.. well, I love flowers. They're cheerful and colorful and happy. Someday I would love to deliver flowers or own a sweet little flower shop. I bought these at the local farmers market for 2 bucks. Gerber daisies are some of my favorite to see in a bouquet. (took this from the internet)
Once we went to the tulip fields in Washington state. Absolutly amazing. I would love to go to the Netherlands and see the dutch tulips.
Forget me knots are the perfect, simplest flower.
A classic field of sunflowers is on my list of things to see one day. Somehow we missed the sunflower fields when we went to Europe.
And that is my little ditty on flowers. Hope you smiled a little more after looking at it.

Chloe is 6 months old.

Happy 6 month birthday to little Chloe Blue.

Starsky

Anyone wondering about Starsky and how he is adjusting??
**This is Starksy during his mid-day nap. He really acts like we are intruding when we walk by.
Starsky and Chloe are good buddies. Atleast she has finally learned to turn her head when he licks her instead of just opening her mouth and grabbing his face and getting a face full.
Starksy can sit at the base of the trees for hours. He is making sure a squirrel doesn't get down. He does this everyday. I get a real kick out of watching him. Brad's theory is that when Starsky is tied up the squirrels get real close to him and taunt him and then when we let him off his leash he tries to retaliate and show them who is boss. I'm not sure he could ever catch one, but he looks fierce doesn't he?

A trip to Nauvoo and other stuff too...

Over labor day, Brad took some time off from studying and we took a trip to Nauvoo via Quincy to get a bike repair (it's the nearest bike shop and it's 80 miles away!!)

We visited Carthage Jail on the way. What an amazing feeling there and the sister missionary who gave the tour was fantastic. Reminded me of my mission days.

In Nauvoo, we walked down the trail of hope. Can you see the temple in the distance?

Chloe already likes to read!!

Our little girl looks oh-so-big in this new high chair. Thanks grandma and grandpa chambers.

One night, we walked Brad to school and on the way home we got caught in a pretty bad rainstorm. I started to run with Chloe and Starksy sensed the urgency of the situation and he pulled us as fast as he could as the wind came and the sky grew dark and the rain just dumped on us like a mini niagra falls. So, I was laughing and yelling to Chloe that it would be okay. She was soaked becuase it was a horizontal rain and well, you can see from the pic how we looked when we got home. It was pretty comical.

What I almost stepped on while walking to church...

So, on Sunday Brad and I walked to church. Since our little sunshine has been rising at 6, we had loads of time. On the way there i almost stepped on something. Use your imagination and try and guess.
CLUES:
!. I wouldn't have died if I stepped on this thing.
2. I have never seen something like this on the streets of Salt Lake
3. I didn't know it was possible to see one of these in the daytime.
Take a guess and I will post later.
