A great birthday and visits

I like this picture of the Peoria bridge.
So full of spirit.
Here is little EZ opening his first gift. I think he loved it.
Thomas. At this age you kind of "create" something your kids into and Thomas just fit. He says the word "thomas" so cute and he gets excited when the song comes on and well, we went with the Thomas theme for his 2 year old birthday. He got a rolling Thomas backpack, a video, a cake, some trains, and lots of other great birthday presents, too.
His cake.
Our cute Melinda was out here for the week to celebrate with us and she made an amazing lasanga for the festivities and here I am with the cake wearing my same sweater I wear at every birthday it seems.
He was quite the engineer with his cake.

We also had Grandma in town which was double the fun.

We went to chuck-e-cheese the day of his birthday and then to Steak and Shake that afternoon for lunch. It was a great weekend and I know our little man felt very very loved.

He's 2!

EZ is 2 today. 11/11/11
I took his hat off and his jacket and he turned and said "cheese".
Cutest little mug ever. He laughs and plays and makes us smile.
He pats the seat next to him and says "by you". He loves to share. He can say everything now. Our favorites are "luv you", "night night", "kiss", "dank you", "sorry momma or sorry chloe"
and "daddy home".
I love how he calls "mommy" from his bed when he wakes up. I love how he is a momma's boy right now. I love his little body and his white hair and his green eyes and big big dimples.
He's a climber and adventurous. He follows Chloe around and plays but is also happy just sitting and playing by himself. He loves to be at the kitchen sink playing in the water. He loves to sweep and is obsessed with spray bottles.
This little guy has our heart.
Good morning birthday boy.
Just a year ago. How our lives are so blessed with him. He's perfect in every way.
Our newest baby boy. (a few days old)
Sweet EZ when he was a few days old.
Happy Birthday Ezra B. We love you so.

Halloween fun

Halloween was so fun this year. Chloe and EZ were the perfect ages. The weather has been perfect for most of October and yesterday was no exception. We went trick or treating till we were tired (not because of the cold). Brad was able to be with us and it was just all in all a great weekend.
In pictures:
I laugh everytime I see pictures of him because this is his face. He is so cute as a little conductor/groom/wierd 80's guy in a too small suit:)
Shout out to my sister who lent us this last year. Chloe had been wanting to be this and Jesse so luckily we had more than one place to dress up.
Our little Jesse.
We had a little preschool party over at our house. I think pictures like this are priceless.
My festive halloween decor. I'm going to post them over on my craft blog soon.
Our little Monkey. At first he just stood there and stared at the cement. It took Brad doing some dancing to get him a little excited. We mentioned the word "candy" and he surely smiled.

I have a basketball in my tummy!!
Hope everyone had an amazing Halloween. I bet you didn't leave candy on your porch and then come back to find that all the candy (170) pieces were gone AND your cute pumpkin basket. Really, Peoria, stealing candy. But...later that night Brad found the pumpkin stashed over by his car.
Yay for November and Brad being off of ICU.
